TENETS OF FAITH

GOD: We beleive in One God, existing eternally in three persons
God, The Father
God, The Son, Jesus Christ
God, The Holy Spirit

SALVATION:
Salvation is a gift of grace through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.  Our sins are forgiven through His sacrifice.  Upon receiving Christ, the Holy Spirit indwells, guides, teaches, and empowers us to live in Christ on a daily basis.

BAPTISM:
We believe baptism to be a command of God, to be done as soon as possible after salvation.

COMMUNION:
Communion is an act of obedient worship, symbolically eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Jesus Christ, thus proclaiming His death and resurrection until He comes again.

BIBLE:
The Bible as originally written is the inspired Word of God.  It is the final authority in all we believe and all we do.

CHURCH:
The body of Christ is "The Church."  We are a small part of the Body of Christ in Englewood, which is a part of the universal body of Christ.  Any believer in Christ is a member of "The Church."  Each member of the Church has been gifted by God and should be using whatever gifts he or she has been given for the building up of the "Body of Christ." (The Church)

PRAYER:
Prayer is the foundational work in all we do.

This statement has been kept brief because we are more interested in you having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ than we are about any doctrinal differences.  Please feel free to question anything.  We do desire to measure everything done here through the "Word of God."
